Your summer garden is coming along beautifully James. Yeah, a lot of people think gardening is a lot of effort, I tell them the effort is in trying to create your own system that works for you. I have raised gardens beds, about 20 of them around my house, I have my own system, its really minimal effort to grow my own food. I too grow organically, no synthetic fertilisers. You simply cannot get that taste and tenderness in the supermarkets, no chance. take care James and everyone.

where can i get the Turbo tuber

My question comes down to the difference of opinions shared on regular-sized tomato plants and cherry tomato plants. I have heard that with cherry tomato plants, you should NOT prune and remove suckers. I am only growing the cherry tomato variety in grow bags currently and would like to know what your opinion and knowledge of the subject is on regular vs. cherry when it comes to pruning. Thank you.

If I grew them from seed (they’re an inch tall), when should I take them outside ? Will the summer heat kill them ? And when do you fertilize it ? Thanks ; )

Have you tried to grow Bing Cherries? They are my favorite. You really inspire me to try again to have my own garden. My yard is not ready yet, to start planning it out. Hopefully by the next growing season ( Florida near Cape Canaveral. we have two seasons) Tuck is looking good. Almost moves like a young puppy. He is so stinkin" cute!!! Lol, my grandfather pointed that out to me in 1945, he raised prize tomatoes. Cow manure is the best fertilizer and an occasional dusting of sulfur is all that’s necessary.

It's probably a stinking coon. You could try hanging some small bags of moth balls on the arbor. I have to use moth balls in my pots of flowers on my deck. After the plants get bigger I can collect the moth balls and use them next year.
